Ep# 446// How Far Is To Far To Travel To Church?
Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
Ricky asked these questions on his Facebook page a few days ago. What’s the furthest you would travel to attend a solid biblical church? Would you move from one city to another to attend a solid biblical church? Would you move from one state to another to attend a solid biblical church? If there were no solid biblical churches in your area, would you work to plant or have one planted in your area? Which brought us an idea for a topic this week on G220 Radio. How far is to far to travel to church? Mike has a good answer, join us as we take some time to examine this question.

Ep# 445 // Examining Open Theism
Tuesday Aug 25, 2020
Tuesday Aug 25, 2020
Open Theism enters the sovereignty/free will debate, which challenges both the Arminian and Calvinistic/Augustine tradition. They claim to solve the theodicy question by claiming God does not know the future free actions of humans. However, does Open Theism answer theodicy (the problem of evil), and at what cost? The guys at G220 Radio unpack Open Theism and explain their beliefs. They will introduce their foundational prepositions of Libertarian Free Will, Process Theology, and the rejection of Greek Philosophy. Apprehend how Open Theism reinterprets God's nature, and destroys arguments for a high view of Scripture. Discover their view of presentism, and how they understand predictive prophecy.

Ep# 444 // How the Nicene Creed shapes our Theology Proper
Thursday Aug 20, 2020
Thursday Aug 20, 2020
We will talk about the history and importance of the creed, as well as highlight portions of the creed, such as why the word catholic better captures the intended purpose over the term universal and more.
Nicene Creed:
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made. Who, for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end. And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life; who proceedeth from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets. And we believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen!

Ep# 443 // Gregory of Nazianzus: Standing Strong for Nicene Orthodoxy
Thursday Aug 13, 2020
Thursday Aug 13, 2020
Gregory of Nazianzus stood for Nicene Orthodoxy when the fight was the strongest. This Church Father devoted his life to defend not only the Doctrine of the Trinity against Arianism. He also stood against modalism and Christological heresies. Gregory was also called "the Theologian" for his great oracles on the Trinity which survive today. While serving as the Bishop of Constantinople, Arians tried to assassinate him.
