Wednesday Oct 31, 2018
Wednesday Oct 31, 2018
In this final episode with Dr. Don Sinnema on the Synod of Dordt, we will be discussing the Synod of Dordt Project. Some of the things we will explore are:
What is the project about? Why are we publishing them now? What need is there for these documents to be published? What documents have/have not been published already? How relevant are these documents going to be in our study of Dordt? And many others! This project is truly a historical gold mine!
We have been blessed to have Dr. Sinnema with us throughout this series. Please share this series with others and encourage them to study the Dutch Reformation and the Synod of Dordt. If you haven't heard the previous episodes, here is the listing:
Check out Part 1 - Ep# 296 The Synod of Dordt, God's Sovereignty, & Man's Responsibility for a general overview of the Canons. Part 2 - Ep# 299 Canons of Dordt: General Characteristics and The Issue of TULIP where we discuss the style, structure, and pastoral nature of the canons and the TULIP. Part 3 - Ep# 305 Predestination in the Canons of Dordt: Reformed/Arminian Perspectives And Part 4 Ep# 316 Canons of Dordt and the Nature of Conversion where we discuss the nature of conversion in view of the canons.

Ep# 324 Susannah Spurgeon w/guest Ray Rhodes
Tuesday Oct 23, 2018
Tuesday Oct 23, 2018
Welcome to another episode of G220 Radio.
On this episode of G220 Radio, we discuss the new biography of Susannah Spurgeon by Ray Rhodes. Many of us are familiar with Charles H. Spurgeon and the remarkable legacy he left us, but what about his wife Susie? We will be announcing the winners of the two copies of the book, so be sure to tune in and listen for your name if you entered.
G220 Radio Host George Alvarado's Review of Susie: The Life and Legacy of Susannah Spurgeon I got this book two days ago and finished reading it in that span of time. I could not put it down! From the very first chapter, I was captivated by the humanity the author revealed in Susannah and Charles Spurgeon's life. Their life long romance for each other was especially a blessing to read. This book was also just as much about Charles as it was about Susie. Their struggles, their afflictions, and their ministry to each other as well as to the body of Christ. I was convicted about my personal devotion to my wife and family, encouraged to persevere in ministry through trial and depression, and then saddened by the loss of such a godly couple. Ray manages to transport us into the personal lives of these two beloved saints, but especially into the integral role Susie played in the life of Charles. I cried after I was done reading. Partly because this book is such a beautiful memorial about a godly woman whose life and ministry may go overlooked. But mostly because this book was such a wonderful reminder of God's great mercy and grace in such broken vessels. I pray more men will read this book and be challenged as well as strengthened by the life Susie lived for Christ and for her husband Charles. Thank you Ray for this truly edifying work.

Keith has been a previous guest on G220 Radio to discuss the topic of homosexuality, which Keith affirms and does not believe is sin, we challenged Keith on his views as well as addressed other areas in which his theology was not compatible with the scriptures.
Since then, we have addressed other areas in which Keith has been promoting false teaching and our concerns that this man needs to be marked as a dangerous false teacher. Due to some back and forth dialogue between Keith and Ricky, Keith wrote a few articles on Patheos one of which is what we called the title of this here episode of G220 Radio, "How To Repsond When They Call You A Heretic?"
